Cosmetic surgery

Plastic surgery includes both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. While cosmetic surgery is performed to reshape normal body parts in order to improve the patient's appearance and self-esteem, Reconstructive surgery is performed on abnormal body parts in order to improve their functions, and possibly rectify abnormal appearance.

The approximate surgery time for each surgery differs. Abdominoplasty or tummy tuck takes 2-3 hours; Botox takes just about 10 minutes and can be performed on an outpatient basis. Breast augmentation takes about an hour as compared to a breast lift or reduction which could take 2-3 hours.

Chin augmentation or correction takes about an hour just the same as an eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty. Droopy or Baggy eyelids can also be corrected. A face lift takes a little longer than the others approximately 3-4 hours. Liposuction is again subjective to what areas need to be worked on. It could be loose hanging flesh all over the body or it could be just one body part; so it could take 1-4 hours or even longer. Nose augmentation or rhinoplasty takes about an hour as compared to a nose reduction which could take 1-2 hours.

The renowned plastic surgeons at the Plastic Surgery Institute of California, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and Pasadena centers are known for performing delicate procedures with ease. Their brilliant techniques have made them the most sought after cosmetic surgeons today. With affordable surgeries you get the best care. When it is about your confidence and self-esteem there can be no compromise. Why settle for less when you have the best!

When having having something as simple as injections or botox in St. Louis, it is extremely important to find a plastic surgeon in St. Louis who is board certified.
