Depressed? - Opt for Surgery:

Fact not friction!

A recent research proved during a survey on 362 patients, including 61 patients (17 percent) who were taking antidepressants at the time of their surgery, had dropped by 31 percent or down to 42 patients six months after surgery.

It has been reported that 98 percent of patients said that cosmetic surgery had markedly improved their self-esteem.

Against the popular misconception, that people undergo surgery only to enhance poise & self-confidence, this research has created a separate section for patients. Earlier it was believed that people undergo the knife to correct a mental or physical discomfort. A recent study says that cosmetic surgery procedures can act as a natural mood enhancer as well.

This study shows that cosmetic surgery confirms to be a vital reason responsible for the decrease in the number of patients requiring antidepressants.

At the Plastic Surgery Institute of California, we follow the highest quality of standards to ensure that are patients have a completely satisfying experience at our centers at Beverly Hills, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Los Angeles and Pasadena.
