Eyelids or Blepharoplasty:

The procedure of removing fat, usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids is known as Blepharoplasty. Blepharoplasty is a common surgery for rectifying untimely maturity of the eyelids.

Rectification of drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes can be altered with the help of Blepharoplasty. These imperfections can interfere with your vision and also make you look older, stressed & tired.

At our advanced surgical institute, Blepharoplasty is performed under I.V. sedation and local anesthesia. The team of expert cosmetic surgeons, craft cuts alongside the common lines of the eyelids, in the wrinkles of the upper lids and under the lashes in the lower lids. Then the skin is classified from the tissues and fatty muscles & the extra fat is removed. The skin and drooping muscle is then removed after constructing cuts.

The procedure of Blepharoplasty takes about one hour. Ice compresses are placed over the eyelids for 24-48 hrs, without bandages to curtail puffiness and bruising. Sutures are removed 4 to 5 days post-operatively, enabling patients to resume their routine, at times with the help of dark glasses.

The Plastic Surgery Institute of California successfully carries out Blepharoplasty or Eyelid surgery with other cosmetic surgeries like Rhinoplasty, Face Lift, Chin and Cheek Augmentation and Otoplasty, with centers at Beverly Hills and Los Angeles.

The positive results of your eyelid surgery: more alert and youthful look, which will last for years. For many people, these results are permanent.
